IC INFO;

CHARACTER NAME: Xion
CANON & HISTORY: Kingdom Hearts, Xion's History
AGE: 1.5 months-ish, although physically 14 which is how old she thinks she is.
CANON POINT: Day 49 of 358/2 Days, before she's able to give Roxas the seashell she found that day.
PERSONALITY:

I do take some supplementary information from the manga and novels, which I will be marking in bold, along with headcanon. Video game canon will always take precedence where outright clashes happen

Before I start this section, I need to preface it. I am taking Xion from very early in her canon, and therefore in her life. Over the course of 358/2 Days, Xion goes through massive character development, and I'm taking her from before most of the events that helped shape her life and her personality into what it is by the end of the game. This is intentional, almost meant to be something of a nature vs. nurture experiment. To this end, I'll be listing what personality traits she's shown thus far (or that show themselves very shortly after her canonpoint), and ones that seem to be independent of her character development/ones I think she has a strong chance of developing anyway, but ultimately much of her personality will likely be shaped over her time in the game.

If this experiment ends up not working out, or not something that you feel comfortable allowing, I can easily shift her to another point and change her personality section to match.

"Your...friend? Roxas, do you think I could be a friend?"
- Xion, Day 25

Due to her very young age, Xion displays many traits you might expect in more of a young child. Several of her viewpoints are very simplistic, based entirely on observation and personal experience, without an understanding of the complexities of a situation. One of the better examples of this includes, shortly after her canonpoint, Xion asking Roxas and later Axel if she could be a friend, following the idea that one can simply "decide" whether to be friends or not.

Along with this, Xion often displays a strong sense of curiosity regarding things she doesn't understand. It's not an uncommon sight all throughout Days, especially the earlier parts, to see Xion asking questions - of Roxas, of Axel, and others. The Organization does little to outright teach her or Roxas anything, preferring to either leave the two in the dark or let them discover things on their own. Thus, investigation and inquiries are her primary methods of learning about the world, and they're methods she makes full use of.

"I finally wake up, just to pass out again? Why? Because I'm a failure?"
- Xion's personal journal, Day 193

While she may be young though, Xion has already shown that she does not have a large degree of self-confidence. A lot of this likely stems from her environment. The Organization is a group of Nobodies, people who have lost their Hearts to the Heartless. Even early on in the game, Xemnas and the overall Organization administration propagates the idea that Nobodies do not truly exist, and are abominations (therefore solidifying their members' allegiance, since the public goal of the Organization is to regain their hearts and become whole). Even so, Xion's case is fairly significant; when she loses her Keyblade, she laments how she's become "useless" because she can't do her job. This indicates a belief that she has nothing of personal value to bring to the Organization, save the weapon she is temporarily unable to wield. However, her interactions with Riku and Saix midway through the game show that this trait can be intensified based on further interactions with people and her environment, and the reverse is likely true as well. This trait is one that will likely be strongly influenced by her time in game.

Lastly (so far as early-game traits go), Xion shows herself to be a very sentimental sort. While Roxas is asleep, she spends a part of each day picking up shells so that she can leave one for him. She also talks to him, even though he's unable to hear her while he's asleep. Later on in the game, when Roxas does the same for her while she's asleep, Xion later keeps all of the shells that he leaves her, a set of personal treasures.

"Here, I brought you this. It's a seashell. I've been picking one up every time I go out on a mission. Hold it up to your ear."
- Xion (to Roxas), Day 50

Xion also has several traits that seem rather universal, that she displays throughout the game despite and including character development.

The first is a certain sense of reservedness, even shyness. We rarely see Xion actively participating in casual conversations with the other Organization members, save Roxas and Axel. Occasionally Roxas makes independent contact with people from other worlds, but we never see Xion doing the same, or talking about doing so. What's more, her first instinct, when extremely stressed, is to withdraw and avoid others - we see this quite possibly as early as her refusing to come back to the castle when her Keyblade is missing, and as late as the period where she finds out she's absorbing Roxas' powers. This is likely a trait that will be moderately affected throughout her time in game.

"Well, I don't know about anybody named Al, but... The city's in rough shape. They've been fixing it up."
- Xion (to Genie), Day 75

None of this is to say that she's cold or standoffish. While we rarely see her interacting with people outside the Organization, on the whole Xion tends towards being polite or even friendly, such as when she and Roxas meet Genie in Agrabah. The manga has some similar instances, such as Xion's interactions with Belle at Beast's Castle, however these events clash with canon so I'm holding it up only as supporting evidence of a tendency rather than specific proof. In a more concrete instance, she's also shown in the manga to express kindness to the Dusks that do various tasks around the Castle that Never Was, even when her coworkers do not. Overall, in my experience, Xion is more likely to open up to characters who have proven to her - beyond just words - that they care about her in some capacity, or else show that there is some common ground among her more sensitive issues that they can connect on. Normally those sensitive issues would involve being a replica, feelings of inadequacy or being sub-standard compared to other people (or being treated that way), and things such as that; however for early game, they'll likely involve more lacking memories and some toned down versions of later sensitive issues, such as general lack of confidence.

"I never imagined Sora's Nobody and the other one [Xion] would fight so hard to be their own people."
- Namine (speaking about Roxas and Xion to Riku), unknown day

Xion is not a person who (most of the time) does things in halves. She puts a great deal of herself into a lot of the things she does - her work, her friends, and so on and so forth. The fact that each aspect can - later on in canon - be alluded to as an important part of her life is telling. Even early in canon, as mentioned earlier, she states to her friends that if she can't do her job, she'll be useless. She's also shown to be sensitive when those things are criticized or attacked - when Riku calls her Keyblade a sham, Xion becomes extremely defensive and lashes out, calling him the "real sham."

"And I'm not a sham. I'M NOT. He is. He's the one pretending to be something he isn't!"
- Xion's personal journal, Day 149

Xion's primary method of dealing with pressure is one of extremes - often she can shoulder it with grace and dignity, or sometimes just pure stubbornness. On the other hand, sometimes she flees the situation or cracks completely. There's rarely an in-between, especially the more intense the pressure. The line that decides which reaction she's likely to give is difficult to define. Generally speaking, if she thinks the cause is worthwhile, or extremely personal to her, then she's more likely to stand her ground. However, because she's still early in canon, and is therefore still developing her perspectives and opinions, topics she'll stand her ground on are harder to come by. This is likely something that will change as she develops in-game.

"So he's a jerk now? Roxas, I wouldn't be sitting here with you if Axel hadn't done that. He's your best friend."
- Xion, Day 321

When Xion has found a cause worth defending, a belief worth having, or a task worth pursuing, however, she can be very determined. To the point of outright stubbornness. This trait shows itself as early as when she refuses to give up on a mission to hunt down Heartless, even though defeating the Heartless and collecting their hearts is impossible without a Keyblade. It also shows itself as late as Days' endgame (and thus the end of Xion's life), when she refuses to sway from her decision to sacrifice herself for Roxas, even with Axel refutes that decision, shouting at her about how he'll always bring her back. Likewise, opinions and beliefs that she develops may have a particular "inertia," in that it will take time and more than a bit of evidence against them for her to change those opinions and beliefs. For example, on day 321, when Roxas talks frustratedly about how Axel attacked Xion, she refutes his statement that this makes Axel a jerk, talking about how he brought them back together and the other things Axel's done in their favor; later that very day she also confides her worries in Axel himself about Roxas condition, indicating she still sees him as a friend and someone to trust.

"Roxas and Xion must have had it out over something. Knowing them, it's something dumb, but still. Watching them, it's like they're human. It's messing with my head."
- Axel's personal journal, Day 152

For all that she's told she's a Nobody and has no emotions, Xion displays a remarkable amount of emotional reactivity across a broad spectrum throughout the game. Even as early as Day 72, Xion shows displays remarkable distress at losing her Keyblade, and no small amount of joy when she recovers it (to the point of jumping up and down in the original game). When Saix harshly criticizes her performance, Xion is unable to face Roxas afterwards, even though he only seems to be attempting to express concern. As mentioned earlier, she shouts furiously at Riku for calling her Keyblade a sham, even insulting him afterwards, and later in the game, when talks about how she has Sora's memories, she becomes biting, even cynical, asking if he hates her for taking his best friend away from him. An important thing to note is that while she is emotional, she isn't necessarily weepy, crying or throwing tantrums over small things. We never see her outright cry over the course of the game, though it's implied she does so after her defeat and humiliation at Riku's hands on Day 150, and the manga does show her crying during her death.

Also, Xion has certain traits that she has "inherited," for lack of a better term, from those whom she owes her existence. Most particularly, throughout Days she shows a strong understanding of the importance of Friendship, even if she doesn't always apply it well. She cares about her friends deeply, telling Roxas so on Day 321 when he commented that it was odd to see her worrying about him. In her own private journal, she says, near the end of the game, that she loves her friends - a bold declaration when she's been told her whole life that she does not have feelings.

"The organization is determined to erase either me or Roxas. They'll never allow us to coexist. I love Roxas and Axel. I'm sure Saïx would scoff at that. Call it a trick of my artificial memories. But the times I spent on that clock tower were real."
- Xion's personal journal, Day 352

However, Xion puts as much of herself into her friendship as she does most other things. While this can help her weather a great many difficulties, this also leads to, unfortunately, a heavy tendency towards codependency on her important people. We see it most clearly near the end of Days, where Xion is willing to completely sacrifice herself when she sees the danger she presents to Roxas. When the decision was just her own, she was willing to waffle and try to figure it out, but when she was returned to the Organization and became more dangerous to her friends, Axel describes her in Days Secret reports as "burning through missions at full tilt" and "frantic." And later, on Day 352 when the Organization pitted her and Roxas against each other, she realizes she's directly become a threat to her best friend and immediately makes the final decision to remove herself from the picture. In multiple previous roleplays I have put her in, this trait has also shown itself in various circumstances. In previous instances, when a person she has grown close to/dependent on has vanished, or else something particularly bad has happened to them (especially if Xion views herself as a cause) she has become upset, depressed (depending on the circumstances), and in some instances her actions and priorities have shifted dramatically. This has developed to a point where in one instance, Xion came to the conclusion that if she were to lose her important people in the process, there would be no point in fighting at all. I understand that devlopments in other games is unique to each game, but this trait has shown itself enough times in varying circumstances I think it's fair to say it's an outright tendency of her, in my own headcanon/interpretation if nothing else.

"Roxas, that's a stick."
- Xion, Day 96

There's also a certain degree of silliness that she inherits from her "influences." While the degree is likely affected by the company she keeps, she shows an inclination - when happy and cheerful towards behaviors reminiscent of Sora, Kairi, and Roxas. In the original version of the game (as mentioned earlier), Xion jumps up and down with delight when she's able to summon her Keyblade again, makes a deadpan observation that is one of the funniest moments in the game, and in the KH 1.5 remake, her teasing Axel is very reminiscent of how Kairi teases Sora and Riku (particularly calling Axel "out of shape" for spending his day off sleeping).

Lastly, the manga shows Xion reacting with extreme delight upon meeting Pluto for the first time. Overall, I have extended this to mean a general inclination/fondness of all animals.

POWERS:

Xion has a multitude of different abilities and skillsets.

Note: In Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days, abilities and powers, save a few exceptions, are organized by the panel system (a.k.a. panel tetris), which is unique to Days. Everything - including things like leveling up - is regulated by this system, save a few exceptions. It's even used to equip most items. Overall I don't find this system to be one that translates easily to RP (or that translates well from anything other than an in-game standpoint), and thus tend to borrow how magic and abilities work from the rest of the series. Abilities and magic (with a few exceptions, which I'll note) are learnable like any other skill, as opposed to needing an item or anything like that to do so (which most closely resembles the system of Birth by Sleep and KH3D). So far as magic goes, I adhere most closely to the KH2 system - which is to say she can only use a certain amount of magic before exhausting her reserves and needing time to recharge, though I tend to have that "recharge" period last longer than it does in the game.

Note 2: This is a list that I'm putting here will include all of Xion's abilities that she is capable of throughout the game. The only abilities that she is currently capable of producing even when not nerfed, I will be marking with an asterisk.

  • Keyblade [*] - The Keyblade has several powers - it can manifest and disappear at the will of the wielder. It also has the power to lock and unlock any door or portal. It also has the ability to return to the wielder's hand, should they ever be disarmed. Beyond this, there is an inherent magical nature to the Keyblade itself - despite its unwieldy shape and form, it functions quite similarly to a sword, and can have very powerful cutting ability when required. It seems to draw power from the wielder's strength of heart. Xion is mostly a novice at this point, and has taught herself primarily through battle. Her skills won't be able to hold up much against anybody who's had formal training.
  • Magic - Magical abilities in KH verse are heavily dependent on the Final Fantasy elemental spread - with Fire, Blizzard, Thunder, and Cure being the main elements, plus others thrown in, and these abilities leveling up over time (-ra, -aga). They're also not particularly unique - instead they're teachable like any other skill, and some people have more of a particular aptitude for it than others. Xion's aptitude in particular seems to be pretty decent (as it's her primary method of fighting throughout certain points in the game), especially the more she's able to use it. Because of these factors, while I'll list magic as it's available in Days, it theoretically should be possible for Xion to learn other magic from Kingdom Hearts games (games with noticeably more magic than the rest of the series include Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance). The spells (as they are in Days) are as follows:
    • Fire [*] - A simple spell that shoots a small fireball that homes in on either Xion's intented target, or if no target is specified, then the nearest opponent. The attack does have a limited range before it disappates on its own, however, so dodging is possible. All Days fire-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be ignited if successfully hit by an attack.
    • Fira - Releases a fireball that, when hitting an opposing target, explodes, damaing nearby enemies. Unlike Fire or Firaga, it does not have homing properties. All Days fire-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be ignited if successfully hit by an attack.
    • Firaga - A spell that travels in an arc, homing towards the nearest opponent as it heads for the ground. Upon hitting either the ground or an opponent (whichever comes first), the attack explodes. All Days fire-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be ignited if successfully hit by an attack.
    • Blizzard [*] - Releases a block of ice that, after flying forwards, homes in towards the target in short bursts. All Days ice-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be completely or partially encased in ice if successfully hit by an attack.
    • Blizzara - This spell creates a small, stationary ice field, that explodes when any enemy comes into contact with it. All Days ice-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be completely or partially encased in ice if successfully hit by an attack.
    • Blizzaga - Creates a small, concentrated point of magical energy. After a few seconds, this point of energy explodes outwards in massive spikes of ice. All Days ice-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be completely or partially encased in ice if successfully hit by an attack.
    • Thunder - The caster summons several small lighting bolts, which travel away from the caster in a straight line. All Days thunder-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be jolted, which periodically "jolts" the opponent for a small but respectable amount of damage over time.
    • Thundara - This spell causes several thunderbolts to rain down around the caster for several seconds. If the caster is to move after casting the spell, the spell will not move with them, but continue to rain down bolts where the caster was previously standing. All Days thunder-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be jolted, which periodically "jolts" the opponent for a small but respectable amount of damage over time.
    • Thundaga - When cast, this spell picks either the nearest opponent, or the one the caster has specifically targeted, and sends a single, massive bolt of electricity down to strike them. All Days thunder-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be jolted, which periodically "jolts" the opponent for a small but respectable amount of damage over time.
    • Aero - Sends a small concentrated ball of air at an opponent. If it strikes them, it unfurls, not enough to strike nearby enemies but enough to do damage and possibly disorient the opponent. All Days air-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be tossed into the air, often kept disorientated until they hit the ground
    • Aerora - This spell sends a small, minature tornado spinning across the ground for several seconds. This spell in particular has a high chance of tossing grounded enemies into the air. All Days air-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be tossed into the air, often kept disorientated until they hit the ground
    • Aeroga - This spell creates violent, swirling winds around the caster, that after a second spin outwards, knocking any nearby enemies away. All Days air-element attacks include the risk that the enemy may be tossed into the air, often kept disorientated until they hit the ground
    • Cure [*] - A basic healing spell which restores - based on skill - a minor to moderate amount of health on either the user or whoever they direct it towards. I tend to treat Days healing spells in general as field medicine. They're able to heal minor wounds and surface injuries, but no substitue for proper medical attention for something more serious, though they can help in slowing bleeding or temporarily stabilizing someone
    • Cura - Functionally, this spell works much like Regen in the Final Fantasy series, in that it heals smaller amounts bit by bit over a longer period of time.
    • Curaga - This spell creates a small field that both the caster and any allies are able to use. While standing in this field, health is restored. It is possible for enemies to enter this field and damage the caster and any allies making use of it.

  • Movement Abilities - Movement abilities are sort of a catchall term for different skills associated with getting around Xion has and is able to learn. Some of them - such as basic Block or Dodge Roll - only require a certain amount of strength or acrobatic skill. Others, like Float, Haste, and Auto-Life, are much more supernatural in nature.
    • Block [* - basic Block only] - A move where a Keyblade - or some other weaponry - is used to block incoming attacks. There appears to be some slight supernatural element involved, as projectile attacks and attacks that would be unlikely to be blocked by only a bar of metal are still able to be warded. In Days, numerous different effects can be added to Block with practice, including the power to infuse it with the different elements available in Days to deal damage, to generate HP prizes (which allow her to heal) while blocking, and the ability to block in a complete circle, including attacks behind herself. Additionally, with enough practice Xion can - with focus - minimize recoil, attack immediately after blocking, and block while surging forward, jumping, and retreating.
    • Dodge Roll [* - basic Dodge Roll only] - An ability that requires more acrobatic ability than magical, a dodge roll is simply a somersault, often used while moving or running, to dodge attacks. Xion can practice it to the point where, if she learns to focus on it, she can move pretty fluidly back into an attacking stance upon exiting a dodge roll. However, Days does have some (other) modifications for Dodge Roll that are a bit more supernatural in nature, particularly the ability to knock enemies aside and deflect attacks while dodge rolling.
    • Aerial Recovery [* - basic AR only] - Moving acrobatically, the user is able to (after being knocked into the air and stunned) reorient themselves and land on their feet. With practice, this move can be done more quickly, or even used to attack or knock nearby foes away.
    • High Jump - a passive ability that allows Xion to jump higher than normal. The effect can be increased, although it caps out at Xion being able to jump twice as high as normal.
    • Float - an active ability, one that - when used - allows Xion to fall very slowly, like sinking through water.
    • Air Slide - a move that allows Xion to "dash" through the air mid-jump, helping her to reach bridge larger gaps. With practice, the number of times that she can dash can be increased.
    • Haste - a passive ability that essentially allows Xion to move more rapidly with the aid of magic. With the right amount of practice, its effect can be increased. However, the effect isn't too significant - ultimately she won't be more than three times faster than normal.
    • Sliding Dash - A move that allows Xion to slide quickly across the ground to close the distance between herself and opponents. The move doesn't have a massive range, probably no more than 30 feet.
    • Auto Life - An ability that allows Xion do revive at full health if she is knocked out/otherwise severely incapacitated. Note that Auto-Life can only be used once per day (possibly even less frequently if restricted). Also note that Auto-Life does not reset in how much jeopardy she needs to be in order for her to activate her Limit Break.
    • Scan [*] - Xion is able to get the general jist of how much more health/stamina an opponent has before they will be defeated. Out of fairness to other players, I say this ability tends to work much more effectively on animals and monsters/non major NPCs.
    • Note: While Xion can possess the Glide ability in Mission Mode, I play her as never having recieved it, as Roxas recieves the ability after Tinker Bell teaches him how to fly in Neverland. Flying in Neverland is something that Xion is notably excluded from, to the point where she laments not being able to at the Clock Tower in one cutscene.

  • Limit Break/Final Limit [* - Limit Break only] - A Limit Break is a particular type of attack that she is unable to use unless she is in dire straits. It can be used more than once if - by the attack's end, she's still in serious trouble, however each successive time will be more and more difficult and require her to be in more and more mortal jeopardy. In her limit break, Xion cloaks her Keyblade in light and attacks a foe quickly and successively. An example of her limit break can be seen here. Her Final Limit attached to the end of her Limit Break, in which Xion sends out narrow pillars of light in perpendicular lines (either an X or + formation) that deal damage to whatever they hit. A good (though brief) example of her Limit Break and Final Limit together can be seen here.
  • Dark Corridors/Teleportation [*] - Dark corridors are magical passageways that can be used to travel between distant locations quickly like teleportation, or even between worlds. The only downside is prolonged, frequent exposure to the Corridors of darkness can have a corrosive effect on one's heart if they are not wearing a dark coat or have a heart of pure light. Also, in game Xion is shown being able to teleport for very short distances, through a method independent of corridors. However, I tend to follow the belief that this ability is more of a gameplay mechanic, to keep Xion's AI from being left behind on joint missions, as opposed to an actual ability that she possesses.
  • Hacking [*] - I believe that Xion, as a replica, was "programmed" with several abilities upon her creation. Most of these are simple things that would've saved time teaching her - things like how to walk and basic language and etc. One of these abilities that's relevant in particular though is how to hack certain technological devices, most particularly computers. It's possible we see this in canon, when she hacks the Organization computer to find the files about Castle Oblivion and herself, halfway or so through the game. For Xion, using this "ability" feels like going on autopilot. It's an ability she can use but she can't explain how she does it to an observer, because she doesn't really consciously understand the process.
  • Memory Absorbtion [* - very weak form] - A latent ability, wherein Xion may absorb the memories (primarily) of those who are closely connected with Sora (Generally I play this as Sora, Roxas, alternate versions of herself in games that allow AUs and possibly Ventus). Presumably though, with the right interference/modification, it could be extended to include others. It is an ability that she cannot control. It's never clearly stated, but this ability appears to be in a significantly weaker form during the majority of the game. Implications between the game, novels, and manga implied that Xion's ability was modified on Day 299. Because Roxas only begins to start quickly losing strength after that point, I take the Day 299 changes to mean that this ability was significantly amplified. It was later modified again on Day 356, which pushed this ability to its absolute strongest and enabled her to access the boss form that will be discussed further below, and the machines that the Organization made for that form's use. It is an ability that could definitely be nerfed, but Xion would be more relieved that this particular ability would be taken away than not (once she finds out). Also I imagine it's something that could be played with plotwise at a later time so I'll leave that up to you guys. Ultimately if she is to keep the ability, she would not be able to practice it or increase its strength on her own.
  • Boss Form - if Xion is programmed (or otherwise manipulated) to do so and absorbs enough power and memories, she can transform into a creature with multiple different forms, in addition to being much larger than normal (to get a sense of her scale, particularly in final form, see here). Her strength is increased greatly while in these forms, and she is able to use abilities she would not be able to otherwise, detailed below. She is unable to access this form without outside interference - it's not something she can train herself to do. It's worth noting that some of the abilities she gains in this form are based on the memories of those she's absorbed memories from (Sora, Roxas), as well as the worlds her bossfight takes place in (Wonderland, HalloweenTown, Agrabah, and Twilight Town, in order). It's not at all unreasonable to say that her abilities in her bossform may change if either influence is altered/added to, and in the very unlikely event I do anything with this, I will be more than willing to discuss things out, to make sure she's powerful but not too overpowered.
    • First form - In this form, Xion gains a pair of wings that can be extended or retracted, giving her the power of flight. One of her abilities in this form is to do a Dashing attack after gathering power, swinging her Keyblade in a sideways slash. While in flight, she uses a similar attack, diving towards her opponent (down towards the ground if they happen to be grounded when she is not) with her Keyblade held like a lance, not entirely unlike Sora's ability of Sonic Blade. Lastly, she is able to jump into the air and surround herself in a sphere of fire, allowing her to recover some damage and damaging opponents who touch the sphere. It is possible to interrupt this technique, if opponents are able to hit her before the shield comes up.
    • Second form Unlike her other forms, Xion does not have any peculiar physical attributes, although she does appear to be slightly more flexible. However, she does gain the ability to create a vortex on the ground, doing no damage but drawing slow-moving enemies towards the center and making them vulnerable to other attacks. She's also able reinforce her strikes with the power of Light. Most notably, however, she is able to use one of Sora's abilities, Ragnarok, where she creates a large series of spiraling light projectiles, which home in on their target for a respectable distance. She's also able to use the same healing-with-fire-shield technique that she used in her first form, although it will be much more effective in healing her than before.
    • Third form - In this form, Xion gains an extra pair of arms and three extra weapons for a total of fou. One of her attacks in this form involves jumping into the air and striking the ground, damaging anyone in the nearby vacinity. In this form, Xion is able to use another one of Sora's abilities - Ars Arcanum, in which she cloaks all of her weapons in light and strikes opponents quickly and repeatedly in a long combo of blows for heavy damage. As with the second stage, she is able to create a vortex on the ground that does no damage but draws slow-moving opponents to the center. Lastly, as with her first two stages, she is able to surround herself with a sphere of fire and heal damage, however it is more effective still, fully recovering her.
    • Final form - Here she's able to use one of Sora's most powerful attacks, Trinity Limit, in which she creates a massive pillar of light that does heavy damage to all within its radius. In addition, she's also able to use what appears to be a variation of Magic Hour, one of Roxas' Limit Breaks. During this attack, she creates smaller pillars of light that strike the ground around her randomly for a significant length of time, each strike dealing heavy damage to those caught in it. She's also being shown to create a medium-sized sphere of darkness that does damage to all that touch it or are inside it. As with her previous forms, she can create a sort of vortex on the ground, which does no damage but draws stationary and slow-moving opponents to its center, making them vulnerable other attacks (such as Trinity Limit). However, in final form, the vortex that Xion can create is much, much larger compared to that of the second and third forms.

OTHER: In canon, there is a certain mechanic where - due to being made of memories - Xion's appearance can change based on who is viewing her, and their relation to Sora/those connected to him. (For example, Riku sees her as Kairi, Xigbar once sees her as Ventus, Saix only sees her as a hooded puppet, etc.). For how I've played this in the past, I tend to simplify it a fair bit. Most characters will see Xion as herself, having no reason to see her otherwise. The type of people who are likely to see her as a thing or tool will only see her as a hooded puppet like Saix, and for her castmates, I will approach them one-on-one and talk to them about what they might see.

PRICE: The shell that she was going to give to Roxas that day. Xion loves seashells and Roxas is someone very important to her. Also she actually doesn't have much of personal value to her (yet, or ever really).
ACCLIMATION: 5. Much of Xion's life up until now, such as it has, has been very routine. However, due to her "memory loss," that some of the strangeness and newness of this new world will be lost amid "everything is strange and new." Additionaly, KH canonically establishes that there are multiple worlds with different people and environments on each, and Xion herself has already experienced that, so that part will be no surprise to her at all. There will be some difficulties for her due to the loss of her Keyblade, which the Organization (and therefore Xion herself) places the majority of of her individual worth on, as well as concern about her best friend who (as far as she knows) is still in a coma back home. She's also never really had to make major decisions for herself, so that will be a significant adjustment, although again, somewhat lost in the "everything is new" effect.

That being said I know she's not showing a huge amount of emotional range in just her TDM (which are basically intro) threads, which while predictable for her canonpoint probably isn't the absolute best for judging how she might act in different situations. So here are a few threads from her previous game (where I also took her from early 358/2 Days), [profile] eachdriadh:

    Example 2
    Example 3

Note that most of them are after she's gone through 4-5 months development, but this way you can also see some of the ways in which she might develop.
